Foreigners purchase AED595.3mn worth of shares on DFM

Foreign investors purchased AED595.3 million worth of shares on the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) and sold AED596.1 million over the week, DFM said on Thursday.
Net foreign investment on the market reached AED780,000 as aggregate sale.
Value of shares bought by foreigner investors comprised 39.8 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the last five days, while value of stocks sold by foreign investors during the same period represented 39.8 per cent of stocks traded during the period, a DFM press release said on the market activities for the current week.
The value of stocks bought by institutional investors reached AED374.3 million comprising 25 per cent of the total value of stocks traded. The value of stocks sold by institutional investors during the period reached AED497 million which constitutes 32.2 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the week.
Net institutional investment on the market stood at AED122.8 million during the period, as aggregate sale.
