Abu Dhabi General Services Company (Musanada) has announced that rehabilitation works of Khonoor and Al Huweiteen Schools are almost completed and that both schools would eventually be handed over to Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC) at the start of the new 2016/2017 academic year.
This comes as part of Musanada’s efforts to realise the vision of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and to carry out the projects that capture the attention and close follow up of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, aimed to provide advanced educational facilities supporting the creation of well-informed and educated generation.
“The Khonoor and Al Huweiteen Schools rehabilitation project has attracted close attention and follow up by HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in the Western Region, as the leadership is keen on delivering facilities and institutions that will provide high-quality, advanced educational programmes, to create and establish a knowledge community through a nurturing educational environment which will be appropriate for future generations,” noted Saeed AlMehairbi, Buildings Director and Acting Education Director, at Musanada.
“Works in the AED17.5-million rehabilitation project started immediately while students leaving the school after school hours, in order to deliver the project within the scheduled timeline and to maintain privacy of the female students during school hours,” he added.
