The Ministry of Housing has launched Etmam e-portal
to develop the real estate sector and facilitate its
procedures.
The e-portal is also aimed at creating an attractive opportunity to increase the volume of investments in the sector from within and outside the Kingdom in a manner that will accelerate the pace of work in housing projects.
The e-portal will provide a series of services, notably receiving applications for the approval of initial housing plans. General supervisor of the Etmam Center Mohammed bin Saud Al-Ghazwani said the launching
of the e-portal comes in the context of
the government’s desire to raise the quality of services to developers.
He said the center is ready to receive applicants, whether individuals or firms, at the following link: etmam.housing.sa. He also stressed that applications on the approval of initial housing plans would be accepted electronically, adding that more services would be added to the center, if feasible.
The center is keen to speed up the provision of all necessary services including issuance of construction permits, accomplishment certificates, on-the-map sales, exemption requests, land division approvals, labor visas and approval and revision of development plans, he noted.
He added that the center would provide a package of facilities which will ensure quality of performance and therefore develop and strealmine the property sector in a manner that will realize the ministry’s strategic objective, which is represented in supporting the supply of housing to the market with diverse options in terms of quality and prices.
