Abdullah bin Zayed receives Vanuatu’s Deputy PM and Minister of Foreign Affairs

HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received Seremaiah Nawalu, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and External Trade of the Republic of Vanuatu.
During the meeting held in Abu Dhabi, the two ministers reviewed bilateral relations and areas of cooperation between the UAE and the Republic of Vanuatu, as well as opportunities for advancing them across various economic, renewable energy, investment, commercial and development domains.
They also deliberated on the recent developments in the region and exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed welcomed the visit of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and External Trade of Vanuatu, expressing his aspirations for this visit to contribute to strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
For his part, the Deputy Prime Minister of Vanuatu expressed his country’s aspiration to consolidate the growing relations with the UAE, praising the country’s leading position at the regional and international levels. The meeting was attended by Reem bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation; Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh, Minister of State; and Saeed Mubarak Al Hajeri, Assistant Foreign Minister for Economic and Trade Affairs.
