Within the efforts aimed at enhancing communication and interaction among children of the Arab world, the General Secretariat of the Arab Parliament for the Child (APC) is preparing to hold the third meeting of the third session, which will be held in Sharjah, under the patronage of H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and with the follow-up of Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States.
The activities of the third session will be held from 18th to 27th February, 2024. Accordingly, extensive work has been done to prepare the programme of events, and arrangements and preparations were discussed at the coordination meeting held at the Parliament headquarters in Sharjah.
The coordination meeting was chaired by Ayman Othman Al Barout, Secretary-General of the Arab Parliament for Children, and was attended by employees of the Parliament and the General Secretariat of Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC).
During the coordination meeting, all security and safety measures were taken to host the participating Arab delegations, in cooperation with the UAE federal and local authorities.
Ayman Othman Al Barout, confirmed that the meeting discussed the preparations to ensure the success of the upcoming hosting, plans, the distribution of roles, coordination with the Arab League, and the invitation of Arab children, and members of the Parliament, to attend and participate in the event.
