Ajman Ruler honours 235 CUCA graduates

HH Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, attended the graduation ceremony of the first batch of City University College of Ajman (CUCA). Some 235 students from various colleges were honoured.
The honouring ceremony was attended by HH Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman and Chairman of the Board of Directors of City University of Ajman, and Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development.
The ceremony was also attended by a number of Sheikhs, senior officials, university officials, a number of ambassadors accredited to the UAE, heads of departments and parents.
The Ruler congratulated the graduates and their parents, saying that graduation of this batch is deemed the first of the college in the context of the strategy aimed at building new colleges and universities supported by the wise leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and Their Highnesses Members of Supreme Council and The Rulers of Emirates, who always set plans and programmes to develop education.
Wishing graduates success and luck in their practical life and labour markets, he pointed out that the new batch represents a true asset of the UAE. He also emphasised that this new edifice is deemed one of the universities that focusses on building human resources.
At the end of the ceremony, the Ajman Ruler, along with others, honoured the outstanding and distinguished graduates. Meanwhile, Sheikh Humaid distributed graduation certificates to the graduates. The Ruler of Ajman, Crown Prince and Sheikh Nahyan received the medal of the university as souvenirs.
