MFNCA remotely renews 3 ISO certificates for integrated management systems

The Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs (MFNCA) has passed the audit process for renewing three International Standardisation Organisation (ISO) Certificates for Integrated Management Systems this week.
The audit was conducted remotely using videoconferencing techniques and remote auditing, in line with the precautionary measures enacted in the UAE to ensure public health.
The renewed certificates included ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS), ISO 14001:2015 for Environmental Management Systems, and ISO 45001:2018 for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems. The systems covers, according to the specifications of the certificates, all of the Ministry’s operations, activities, and services.
MFNCA Undersecretary His Excellency Tariq Hilal Lootah underlined the Ministry’s commitment to meeting the highest standards of management, in line with its vision to enhance the relationship between the government and the Federal National Council; promote the culture of political participation; provide administrative services that meet standards of quality, efficiency, and transparency; and promote a culture of innovation.
HE applauded the efforts of all the teams that took part in the audits for their outstanding efforts that led to the renewal of the ISO certificates for Integrated Management Systems, stressing that the practice of remote auditing is in line with the Ministry’s approach to adhere to ISO standards and requirements.
“This is another accomplishment we can add to the ministry’s track record; it is a continuation of its efforts to create an innovative model for coordinating between the legislative and executive authorities, in order to establish a flexible future government that can adapt to any rapid developments and circumstances,” H.E. said. “The Ministry is constantly reviewing its directions and developing innovative programmes, projects, and initiatives to empower its employees to become global models.”
The Ministry of State for FNC Affairs implements a comprehensive policy regulating quality, environment, and occupational health and safety; setting goals for systems and constantly reviewing them; sharing management best practices; and developing and upgrading the services it provides to support its strategic directions.
The Ministry is committed to meeting all requirements and abiding by legislations, laws, regulations, and instructions. It additionally provides training, spreads awareness, and promote compliance among employees with the requirements of the Quality Management System, the Environment Management System, and the Occupational Health and Safety Management System. The MFNCA provides high-quality services that ensure customer happiness and exceed their expectations; it works to prevent and reduce occupational injuries and diseases, reduce pollution to the environment, and avoid all health and safety risks associated with its activities and services.
Furthermore, the Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs has set a number of controls to mitigate health and safety risks and engage employees in decision-making in the Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
