The United Arab Bank (UAB), announced a contribution of AED50,000 to support Ajman Club for Disabled. The donation will help People of Determination (people with disabilities) to unlock their potential, prove themselves and overcome their disability.
Sheikh Mohamed Al Nuaimi, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of UAB, presented the donation cheque to Dr Marwan Abdul Majeed Ibrahim, Executive Manager of Ajman Club for Disabled, at the headquarters of the club, in the presence of senior officials from both sides.
Commenting on the contribution, Al Nuaimi said, “UAB initiative clearly reflects its commitment to supporting and encouraging People of Determination, in line with the UAE leadership’s vision.”
For his part, Dr. Ibrahim stated, “We sincerely thank UAB for this generous contribution, which reflects its commitment to social responsibility and keenness to serve the community. Such initiatives highlight how important the concerted efforts are to bring about a decent life for People of Determination.â€
They have to get the necessary rehabilitation and training courses and be offered suitable job opportunities that ensure a better future for them.”
