The Federal Authority for Electricity and Water (FEWA) carried out a number of water projects in the Emirate of Sharjah worth AED300 million to meet the growing demand for the vital commodity from new urban centres at Al Madam and Maliha.
Mohammed Saleh, Director of FEWA, said the projects included a 400 km-long water distribution network at Al Madam area and a water reservoir with a total capacity of 4 million imperial gallons to ensure uninterrupted water supply to these areas.
