Ahmed Hatem Al Manhaly, UAE Ambassador to Mexico, received José Navalón, Ambassador of the Confederation of Chambers of Commerce in Mexico in Charge of the UAE Affairs.
During the meeting, Navalón, who participated in the third Global Business Forum on Latin America that was held in Panama, praised the forum’s organisation and the aspirations of the UAE in Latin America, noting that the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry plans to open an office in Mexico.
Both sides discussed ways of reinforcing cooperation while explaining that the confederation is Mexico’s leading commercial authority, comprising 46 national chambers, 14 regional chambers, three general chambers and 46 unions.
The UAE is keen to cooperate with the confederation, Al Manhaly said while explaining that Mexico is facing challenges that require the establishment of major partnerships.
