Traditional Iftar and Sohour experiences in celebration of the Holy Month of Ramadan await at the Fairmont Bab Al Bahr’s stunning Al Andalus Ramadan Tent. With breathtaking views of Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, the enchanting Al Andalus Tent provides the ultimate venue to enjoy an authentic Arabian Iftar and Sohour with stunning surroundings, lavish spreads sumptuous of local and international cuisine, and traditional entertainment.
The Al Andalus Tent with authentic Arabian luxury and decor, guests at Al Andalus Tent will be magically immersed in the flavours of ancient Islamic culture with ancient Andalusian influences amid rich textures and glimmering gold features. With a stunning entrance complemented by luscious materials and intricate design, the Al Andalus Tent can comfortably accommodate over 500 guests.
Some amazing features include an exclusive dedicated ladies area, Majlis lounge each capable of holding up to ten people all with TV screens, with some also accommodating play stations (PS4). Backgammon and playing cards will be available upon request. The tent has a 19-metre long entrance adorned with luxury leather and linen furniture that features throughout the vast 1200 square meters area. Al Andalus tent is located on the Falcon Lawn on the edge of Maqtaa Creek with breath-taking views of the Sheikh Zayed Mosque.

The Iftar will feature live cookingstations including a whole lamb carving and a Lamb Ouzi station, and a spectacular buffet featuring a selection of barbecued meats and seafood, including prawns, mussels, crab, as well as a choice of freshly prepared fish.
Guests can indulge in the traditional flavours of Arabia with authentic dishes such as delicious hot and cold Mezzeh, freshly baked Arabic bread, mouth-watering Manakish, succulent Shawarma rolled in Saj bread, and a selection of Arabic soups.
A dedicated Emirati cuisine station will offer sensational local tastes including Thareed, Harees, and Machboos. Guests can sip on a selection of Ramadan drinks and Arabic coffees while choosing from a range of premium dates, while those with a sweet tooth can delight in a wide selection of Arabic and Western sweets including Kunafa station, and ice creams. Shisha will also be available from 9pm.
Welcoming guests from 10pm-3am from Saturday to Wednesday and 10:00pm to 3:30am on weekends, Sohour will feature a Lebanese a la Carte menu with a fruit juice bar located front of house and serving freshly-squeezed juices, mocktails, smoothies, and speciality coffees.
