Arab Parliament hails UAE’s support for Yemeni people

Speaker of Arab Parliament, Dr Mishaal bin Fahm Al-Salami has praised the valuable aid provided by the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait to support Yemenis at the Pledging Conference on Yemen held in Geneva, Switzerland.
The aid has been announced to achieve the urgent humanitarian response, relief and alleviation of the sufferings of the Yemeni people.
In a statement, carried by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Dr. Al-Salami said that this aid reflects solidarity among Arab countries, based on their keenness to stand with Yemen in the current difficult circumstances, and as continuation of the constant support being provided in all fields.

Two dental clinics open in Aden
The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC), launched on Wednesday two dental clinics in Aden, in the health complex in Attawahi and the health complex in Algulwah.
The launch ceremonies were attended by ERC representatives Mohammed Al Kaabi and Sultan Al Shamsi, as well as Abdulhamid Al Shuaibi, Director-General of Attawahi District, Dr. Iqbal Ali Shaif, Director of the Health Office of the District, and several local officials.

Dr. Shaif praised the ERC’s support for the district’s health office, as well as its efforts to rehabilitate the local health centre and provide it with the latest equipment, such as modern dental chairs, which will serve over 80,000 local people.

Al Shuaibi and Dr. Shaif praised the support provided by the UAE, through its humanitarian arm, the ERC, for the complex.
