Over 8,000 needy families in Dubai and other northern Emirates have benefitted from smart Ramadan Vouchers provided in honourable gesture by HH Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, wife of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
Valued at around AED4.2 million, the e-vouchers have been distributed by Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian & Charity Establishment as part of its seasonal programmes aimed at supporting eligible families during the holy month.
“Distributing Ramadan aid through smart vouchers is an ambitious initiative being run by the establishment for the second time following the successful launch of pre-paid cards given to the superintendent of each family to buy their needs of food supplies during Ramadan in collaboration with Lulu Hypermarket department stores across the country,”
said Ibrahim Bu Melha, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Charity and Humanitarian Establishment, who expressed sincere appreciation to HH Sheikha Hind for her philanthropic gesture.
