Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Managing Director and CEO of the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), received a delegation from Cisco Systems, and IT and networking company. The visit underpins DEWA’s collaboration with international companies to share best practices and share knowledge in the information technology sector.
The delegation included Chris Dedicoat, Executive Vice President, Worldwide Sales, David Meads, Vice President for the Middle East and Africa and Shukri Eid, Managing Director, East Region, Cisco Middle East. The meeting was attended by Marwan bin Haider, Executive Vice President of Innovation and the Future at DEWA.
Al Tayer briefed Cisco Systems delegation on the efforts of DEWA and its initiatives to achieve the vision of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, for Dubai’s digital transformation, and Smart Dubai initiative to transform Dubai into the smartest and most successful city in the world.
