Abu Dhabi University (ADU) has welcomed around 7,863 returning and new students for the Spring Semester to pursue their studies across university’s 44 internationally accredited undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes. The Spring Semester will end on June 25. Dr. Waqar Ahmed, Interim Chancellor of the university, confirmed that all preparations have been completed for the beginning of the second semester of 2017 – 2018 academic year. He added that the University has also completed the maintenance of ADU facilities and amenities across its three campuses in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and Dubai including its laboratories, classrooms and libraries.
“Abu Dhabi University will launch a number of academic and extra-curricular initiatives during the semester, including the inauguration of Academic Centre at Baynouna Educational Complex, BEC, in Al Dhafra region. The varsity has launched at the beginning of its academic year the agenda for 2018 Year of Zayed.”
