According to a report named Travel and Tourism – Economic Impact 2015, released by World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC), the business travel spending (inbound and domestic) generated 20.9 percent (AED24.7bn) of direct Travel & Tourism GDP in 2014. Business travel spending is expected to grow by 3.3 percent in 2015 to AED25.5bn, and rise by 2.6 percent per annum to AED33.0bn in 2025.
