Abdullah bin Aqeedah Al Muhairi, Secretary-General of the Zakat Fund, has said that the fund’s website has so far attracted 40 million visitors.
Al Muhairi noted that the management of the Zakat fund, through its website, seeks to provide easy and accessible services to its users.
He added that the number of website visitors reflects the success of its online services, which contributed to the increase in people donating their zakat, as funds have increased.
He added that website visitors have been donating through its online service, as well as sending inquiries about the ways to calculate their zakat donations.
The Fund’s website is available in Arabic, English and Spanish, and receives donations from both inside and
outside the UAE.
