Yas Waterworld, the world’s only Emirati-themed waterpark has been recognized for its commitment to excellence in all areas of operation. Adding to its already impressive list of accolades, Yas Waterworld won awards bestowed by independent awarding bodies on a global and national level, including the Mother, Baby & Child Awards 2016 and TripAdvisor.
The awards are indicative of Yas Waterworld’s ongoing efforts to innovate the park and its offerings, whilst maintaining its position as a leader in entertainment facilities.

This month, Yas Waterworld has been recognized locally by Mother, Baby & Child magazine in their annual Mother, Baby & Child Awards 2016 for winning ‘Theme & Water Park of the Year’ as one of the best family entertainment parks. The award celebrates mothers’ favourites, who go over and above for families and communities, as voted by the mothers themselves.
In June 2016, Yas Waterworld was also named by TripAdvisor as one of the world’s top ten waterparks as well as awarded a Certificate of Excellence and a Traveler’s Choice Award for the third consecutive year. The park was also awarded by the highly-coveted industry awards the 2016 IAAPA Brass Ring Award for Excellence in Games and Retail.
Earlier this year, Yas Waterworld also received the prestigious ‘Gold International Aquatic Safety Award’ from Jeff Ellis & Associates, Inc. Recognised for the high quality of safety standards, this award further established the waterpark as a safe entertainment destination with facilities that consistently exceed industry standards in risk management and epitomize aquatic safety excellence.
The UAE’s first mega waterpark is home to over 40 exhilarating rides, slides and attractions – five of which can be found nowhere else in the world. The waterpark is also home to the globe’s first interactive water and laser rollercoaster, Bandit Bomber. In the four years since the park was first open, the park has been awarded over 20 industry awards.
