The 5th World Aviation Safety Summit (WASS) kicked off in Dubai on Tuesday to review the essential safety measures required to ensure aviation safety worldwide.
Hosted by Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, DCAA, on 11th -12th April 2017, WASS has been established as the meeting place for thought leaders of the global aviation safety sector to review best approaches conducive to efficiently managing the processes, threats, risks and calamities facing aviation safety professionals worldwide.
The aviation sector spares no efforts to ensure better and more secure future for the industry, said Khalid Abdul Karim Al Arif, Executive Director for Safety and Aviation Environment at DCAA, in his inaugural
remarks.
WASS 2017 engages local and international stakeholders from regulatory authorities, airline operators, airport operators, aircraft manufacturers, pilot associations, safety organisations and air traffic control service providers to highlight key strategies for the safety culture of the future.
The summit features a series of panel sessions and syndicate discussion to examine the projects set to have a significant impact on the
industry and its community.
