Win big at Shurooq’s ‘sumfun’ fest

‘Sumfun’ summer festival — Shurooq’s latest summer festival celebration taking place across four of Sharjah’s most iconic and popular destinations and running until September 16 — kicks off with visitors receiving opportunities to win a series of travel packages, valuable cash prizes and a grand prize comprising of the latest Cadillac CTS 2016.
The Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) is offering visitors in Al Qasba, Al Majaz Waterfront, The Heart of Sharjah and Al Montazah Amusement and Water Park a unique summer-season experience through diverse set of summer activities, attractions and promotions, enabling them the opportunity to walk away with multiple prizes.
Ahmed Obaid Al Qaseer, COO of Shurooq, said, “We’re very excited behind the launch of “SUMFUN” summer festival as our aim is to promote a unique set of experiences which each of these destinations offer respectively. Our choice behind these four unique destinations is primarily attributed to the growing turnout of visitors and tourists in Sharjah.”
Al Qaseer added: “We truly want to take this opportunity and celebrate the summer season by rewarding all our visitors and enable them the opportunities of exploring our destinations’ facilities and services. Finally, this summer festival is part of our continuous efforts in attracting and welcoming families and friends, and part of strategy in promoting our destinations as ideal hotspots for bringing people together in a fun and intimate atmosphere.”
For every AED 50 spent at cafes, restaurants and recreational facilities across Sharjah’s four destinations celebrating the “SUMFUN” festival, visitors will be eligible to receive a coupon and participate in five draws. Each draw to include cash prizes worth AED10,000 or five family travel packages. Visitors will also automatically enter the festival’s Grand Prize draw, which includes the chance to win the latest Cadillac CTS 2016.
The draws will take place at 7:30pm across all four destinations, with the first draw scheduled to take place at Al Montazah Amusement and Water Park on Friday, August 19.
The second draw will be held in the Heart of Sharjah on Friday, August 26, while Al Qasba’s draw will take place on Friday, September 2, and Al Majaz Waterfront’s draws on Friday, September 9. The grand prize draw for the Cadillac CTS and other draws for cash prizes will be held on Friday, September 16.
