UAE President mourns death of his mother
President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is mourning the death of his mother, the late Sheikha Hessa bint Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, who passed away on Sunday, a statement issued by the Ministry of Presidential Affairs this morning announced.
In its statement, the Ministry declared a three-day official mourning period starting Sunday, during which UAE flags will be flown at half-mast.
Mohamed mourns death of President’s mother
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, is mourning the death of Sheikha Hessa bint Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Nahyan.
A statement issued by the Crown Prince’s Court this morning said, “Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan is mourning the death of Sheikha Hessa, who passed away on Sunday. May Allah rest her soul in peace.” The Crown Prince’s Court will be marking the official three-day mourning period, flying the flag at half-mast.
