His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Wednesday met Saudi Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Defence.
During the meeting, they discussed fraternal relations and ways to enhance them between the two countries. They also reviewed the latest developments in the region.
The meeting was attended by HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation; Ali Mohammad Hammad Al Shamsi, Deputy Secretary-General of the Supreme National Security Council; Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority; Mohammed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Under-Secretary of the Crown Prince’s Court of Abu Dhabi, and Yousef Al Otaiba, UAE Ambassador to the United States.
On the Saudi side Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet, and Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir, Minister of Foreign Affairs, attended the meeting.
UAE participates in GCC  defence minister’s meet
Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Bowardi Al Falasi, the UAE Minister of State for Defence Affairs, participated in the GCC Defence Ministers’ meeting with the US Secretary of Defence, Ashton Carter, held in Al-Diriyah Palace in Riyadh.
The defence ministers discussed, ahead of the GCC Leaders’ meeting with US President, Barack Obama, the huge challenges facing the region and world, and ways to strengthen co-operation and international efforts to eradicate the menace of terrorism and criminal organisations that threaten the world’s security and stability.
