UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan today received a copy of a book titled “Sheikha Salama bint Butti,” published by the National Library and Archives.
During a meeting with a delegation from the National Library and Archives at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi, His Highness was briefed on the key themes and chapters of the book, which was written by author and researcher Ali Ahmed Al Kindi Al Marar.
His Highness signed a copy of the publication, which will be preserved in the Sheikh Zayed Hall within the National Library and Archives.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed expressed his appreciation for the role played by the National Library and Archives in documenting and preserving the nation’s history, heritage, and culture for future generations. He extended his gratitude to all those involved for their efforts in this important endeavour.
The delegation from the National Library and Archives expressed their gratitude to His Highness for his ongoing support of the institution. They emphasised the importance of employing cutting-edge technology to safeguard valuable documents for the long term, ensuring they remain accessible to future generations.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; and Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor for Special Affairs at the Presidential Court.
