UAE martyrs are beacons of inspiration: RAK Ruler

H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, emphasised the pride and honour in commemorating the martyrs who sacrificed their lives to uphold the nation’s dignity and defend its land, values, and principles.
“Our martyrs are beacons of inspiration, their legacy etched in our collective memory. Their courage, generosity, and sacrifice fuel our pursuit of a peaceful and prosperous nation,” he said.
On Commemoration Day, H.H. Sheikh Saud said, “Following in the footsteps of those who gave their lives for the UAE, we renew our commitment to safeguarding the unity of our nation and protecting its achievements and gains.”
“This day is not merely a commemoration but a solemn occasion to reaffirm our dedication, loyalty, and relentless efforts in serving the homeland with integrity and sincerity, honouring the memory of the UAE’s martyrs and immortalising their unforgettable sacrifices.”
His Highness said that the sacrifices of the UAE’s sons have contributed to supporting stability, security, and international peace while upholding the values of tolerance, coexistence, and solidarity globally.
“These efforts are rooted in our national values of extending help to all brotherly and friendly nations, following the noble humanitarian principles established by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and his fellow founding fathers.”
He emphasised, “The country’s progress will keep moving forward, and that our commitment to humanitarian work will be visible in all areas.”
His Highness highlighted the exemplary patriotism of the martyrs of the armed forces, describing them as vital protectors of the nation and embodying loyalty to their leadership. “Their sacrifices ensure national security and stability, enabling the country to achieve prosperity and progress.”
His Highness also extended his salute and reverence to the families of the martyrs for their immortal sacrifices and for embodying noble national values of loyalty and patience. “They are inspiring models for present and future generations in their love for the nation.”
In the end, His Highness prayed to Almighty Allah to protect the UAE, its leadership and its people, and to bless it with continued security, stability, prosperity, and progress.
