UAE, Iraq discuss ways to enhance cooperation

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received Dr Fuad Hussein, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iraq.

During the meeting, which was held in Abu Dhabi, the two sides reviewed the UAE-Iraq ties and ways to enhance cooperation across all domains.

They also discussed a number of issues of mutual concern, in addition to the latest developments at the regional and international levels. HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed wished the Iraqi government success in carrying out its national responsibilities in to consolidate security and stability in Iraq and meet the aspirations of its people for further development and prosperity.

He also praised the deep-rooted fraternal relations between the UAE and Iraq, highlighting the keenness of the two friendly countries to strengthen and develop them in the mutual interest and benefit of their people.

HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, also received Greek Minister for Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias in Abu Dhabi.

During the meeting, the two ministers discussed a number of issues of mutual concern, in addition to the latest developments at the regional and international levels.

HH Sheikh Abdullah welcomed the visit of Dendias, affirming his keenness to enhance cooperation and joint work based on the strategic partnership between their two friendly countries.
