UAE, Indonesia boost economic relations

A visit paid recently by a delegation representing the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry to Indonesia has resulted in tangible results that will reflect positively on the growing partnerships between the business communities in the two countries.
The visit included meetings with representatives of the public and private sectors in the Asian country where the two sides thrashed out best ways to stamp out all obstacles faced by UAE investors in terms of legislation and laws that ensure an investment-conducive environment, according to Mohammed Ahmed Al Nuaimi, Assistant Secretary
General of the FUCCI.
“Opening up fresh channels of dialogue and coordination with Indonesia has been quite important to streamline investment inflows to this country which boasts a highly significant economic leverage being a main gate to Asia and member of G20 and ASEAN,” he noted in statements at the UAE -Indonesia Investment Forum which grouped together delegations of the FUCCI with representatives of the Indonesian private and public sector.
He noted that UAE is among the key markets for Indonesia’s exports and vice versa, affirming ample growth prospects in bilateral relations on the back of the immense potential boasted by the two sides.
