UAE in new development phase

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, who is also the Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, has stressed that upon the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE entered into a new phase of development based on creative and innovative visions to become an active figure in the world.
Sheikh Mohamed made the remarks during the swearing in ceremony of the new members of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council before him at the Presidential Palace in the presence of HH Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council.
He said, “The overall development in the UAE is an ongoing, sophisticated and innovative process carried out by Emiratis with their thoughts and devotion to make the UAE always able to accommodate regional and global changes and tackle them with confidence based on the solid ground of the previous achievements and successes, which represent a starting point for action and planning for the future.”
Sheikh Mohamed stressed the great responsibility of members in the implementation of developmental and ambitious visions for the present and the future, particularly the 2030 economic vision of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, which aims to build a knowledge-based economy to raise the standard and quality of life of citizens in the areas of education, health, housing and other areas of sustainable economy in line with the development philosophy of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, that makes Emirati citizen a target and an initiator of development.
The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi urged the members to redouble their work and effort in the next stage, and to build on the previous achievements to serve the community and achieve the welfare of citizens and their happiness, being the most important goal and strategy.
