UAE, Fiji to boost economic ties

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received the visiting President of the Republic of Fiji, George Konrote on Thursday.
Sheikh Mohammed welcomed Konrote and his accompanying delegation. They discussed friendship ties and co-operation between the UAE and Republic of Fiji and ways to enhance them in the best interest of the two friendly peoples and countries.
They also exchanged views on a number of topics of mutual interest and bilateral co-operation fields between the two countries, especially the economic, investment and tourist domains.
Sheikh Mohamed stressed the keenness of the UAE to enhance co-operation with Fiji, particularly in the development and in diversifying and developing joint economic
projects.
Konrote expressed his country’s desire to boost ties with the UAE and benefit from the Emirati expertise and development and economic capabilities.
