UAE, Canada discuss coop

The UAE and Canada discussed on Thursday ways to enhance co-operation in regional and international issues of mutual interests. They discussed extremism, terrorism, the Yemeni and Syrian crises, and Iraqi and Iranian issues, as well as a peaceful settlement in the Middle East.
A meeting of senior UAE and Canadian officials from their ministries was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Abu Dhabi.
The meeting was held in the framework of the policies dialogue between the UAE and Canada. The meeting was attended by Masud Husain, the Canadian Ambassador to the UAE, other officials from the Canadian side and several Emirati officials at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
