The UAE Cabinet pursues leading approaches to excellence in government work, and relies on creative work and management teams that are committed to modernisation and innovation to meet world-class standards, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, said on Monday.
Stronger co-operation and co-ordination between local and federal agencies is needed to successfully implement the National Agenda and UAE Vision 2021 while keeping the UAE’s top global ranking by initiatives and development plans in all spheres, based on innovation and excellence, to serve citizens and enhance the country’s global stature and reputation, he said while visiting the new headquarters of the Federal Competitiveness And Statistics Authority.
He toured the building and expressed satisfaction with the interior design which features an open-space concept.
HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid was accompanied by HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai; Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and The Future; Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemi, Minister of State for International Cooperation, and Khalifa Saeed Sulaiman, Director-General of Protocol and Hospitality-Dubai.
Abdullah Naser Lootah, Director-General of the Federal Competitiveness And Statistics Authority, briefed Sheikh Mohammed about preparations for hosting the United Nations World Data Forum in the UAE.
