The UAE participated in the first trade and investment dialogue between the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the European Union (EU), which concluded at the headquarters of the Council’s General Secretariat at Saudi Capital of Riyadh.
The Ministry of Economy organized the UAE delegation which was headed by Mohammed Nasser Hamdan Al Zaabi, Director of the UAE Ministry of Economy’s Trade Promotion and Investment Department, and included Ahmed Al Qaisi, Director of the Economic Department at the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, along with a number of businessmen and officials.
The two-day discussions between representatives of trade authorities in the Arab Gulf and representatives of the Directorate General for Trade of the European Commission touched on how to enhance trade and investment cooperation between the two sides.
