UAE at Arab Human Rights meet

The United Arab Emirates is participating in the 40th meeting of the Permanent Arab Committee for Human Rights, which began on Sunday at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Arab League in Cairo, Egypt. Mohamed Al Rashidi, Legal Advisor to Oman’s Minister of Justice is heading the five-day meeting with the participation of representatives of the member states.
The UAE delegation is represented by Mubarak Al Hammadi from the Human Rights Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. The meeting will discuss issues related to human rights, especially the report of the Arab League’s human rights department regarding the steps taken to implement the recommendations of the previous session of the committee.
