UAE and Netherlands promote telemedicine and e-health solutions

As part of the growing cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and Netherlands, CADD Emirates and Spectator Video Technology signed
a healthcare agreement on Tuesday in Abu Dhabi to
promote telemedicine and
e-health solutions in the UAE.
The agreement, signed during the current visit by Dutch Minister for Health, Welfare and Sport, Martin van Rijn, is aimed to ensure healthcare access for wider segments of society, reduce primary care costs and enhance performance efficiency for healthcare providers as part of a comprehensive healthcare monitoring and solutions programme. The Dutch minister is accompanied by representatives of 30 Dutch companies to explore ways of promoting bilateral trade relations.
“This strategic partnership brings together a unique mix of cutting-edge technology and local experience in infrastructure, network and hospitality to deliver affordable and efficient health and homecare services and solutions for customers and providers within the United Arab Emirates,” said Sheikh Majed Sultan Saqr Al Qasimi, Vice Chairman of CADD Emirates, a leading enterprise solutions provider and an IT Integrator in the UAE.

The signing ceremony was also attended by Thijs Teeling, Chair of Task Force Health Care and Frank Mollen, Ambassador of the Netherlands to the UAE.
