His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, met Ditmir Bushati, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Albania.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed UAE-Albania ties and means to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two friendly countries. Sheikh Abdullah and Bushati also exchanged views on regional and international developments of mutual concern.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed welcomed the Minister’s visit, emphasising the UAE leadership’s vested interest in promoting and developing bilateral ties across multiple sectors with Albania, to best serve the interests of both nations and their peoples.
The Albanian Foreign Minister highlighted the distinguished relations between the UAE and Albania. He also praised the UAE’s leading standing in the global arena and its remarkable accomplishments across various sectors.
At the end of the meeting, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed and Minister Bushati signed a Memorandum of Understanding concerning political consultation between the two countries.
