Trend Micro to provide tech support to ADSIC, partners copy

The Abu Dhabi Systems and Information Centre (ADSIC), has signed a strategic partnership MoU with the leading global cybersecurity company Trend Micro, to provide advanced software solutions to 84 entities within Abu Dhabi’s e-Government. As part of the MoU, Trend Micro will provide cybersecurity services to boost the general security environment of ADSIC and its strategic partners from the Abu Dhabi government sector, and will conduct a series of awareness workshops to support knowledge transfer and offer its international expertise.
“Providing key elements that support the technical infrastructure and cyber eco-system to the benefit of our end-users and strategic partners is a central planning and operational pillar for Abu Dhabi’s e-government,” said H.E Rashid Lahej Al Mansouri, Director General of ADSIC.
Al Mansouri added, “We continually aim to diversify and establish new partnerships with leading cybersecurity corporations based on the changing needs of our constituents, and we look forward to a productive partnership with Trend Micro.”
ADSIC’s Director General went on to say that strategic partnerships between public and private sectors are a catalyst for transferring knowledge and exchanging expertise in light of the Center’s vision to establish a leading digital government, driven by innovation and inspired by society. “We understand the critical role gover- nment regulatory bodies like ADSIC play in helping to keep the Emirate of Abu Dhabi safe from cyberattacks. They have a robust ecosystem that needs constant protection, and this MOU will allow us to assist them in keeping their government and semi government entities protected.,” said Ihab Moawad, VP Mediterranean, Mid. East, Africa.
