‘Tolerance forms integral pillar of work relationship’

Workplace relationship in the UAE is based on tolerance, dialogue, accepting the other, respect for diversity, combating discrimination and guarantee of rights, affirmed Nasser bin Thani Al Hamli, UAE Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, at the 46th Arab Conference in Egyptian capital, Cairo, on Monday.
“In the Year of Tolerance 2019, the UAE is embedding the values of tolerance, acceptance and cooperation in the corporate sector,” he told the pan-Arab meeting.
The minister stated that the UAE has adopted a package of policies seeking to develop work relationships in a bid to realise sustainable development goals.
He called on production stakeholders to join forces so as to generate job opportunities that rely on talents and skills to address work and job market challenges in light of the rise of automatisation.
The week-long meeting discusses the Arab Labour Organisation’s report and ways of implementing the 2030 Sustainable Development Plan.
