His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes’ Affairs, has raised the UAE flag at Wahat Al Karama, Abu Dhabi, to mark UAE Flag Day.
The ceremony, organised by the Presidential Court, took place in the presence of representatives from the Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters, and Emirates Red Crescent.
His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan also extended his highest expressions of congratulations and blessings to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al
Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE, UAE Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and to their brothers, as well as Their Highnesses of the Supreme Council and Rulers of the Emirates.
HH Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan highlighted that UAE Flag Day is a treasured national occasion which celebrates the unifying symbol of the nation, and honours the founding fathers’ achievements in establishing a unified nation.
His Highness said: “On this occasion, which symbolises the strength of our union and embodies our pride and honour in national solidarity and cohesion, we proudly remember the heroism of the UAE’s fallen heroes and their sacrifices for our nation.”
