“The Youth of Silk Road – Chinese Artists Dubai Exhibition ,” co-organized by the Hong Kong International Calligraphy And Painting Art Exchange Promotion Association  and the Zenkey Gallery, is about to conclude its month-long exhibition at the China-Arab Economic and Trade Exchange Center in Dubai. The exhibition opened on December 6th, local time in Dubai, and marks a new chapter for the Chinese Pavilion “Splendor of China,” which previously shone at the Dubai Expo.
The inaugural exhibition at the China-Arab Economic and Trade Exchange Center in the Expo City holds significant meaning. Chinese Ambassador to the UAE Zhang Yiming highly praised the fruitful cooperation between China and the UAE over the past 40 years of diplomatic relations and emphasized that the center will add new momentum to the bilateral relationship and open up more opportunities for shared prosperity.
Najeeb Mohammed Al-Ali, Executive Chairman of the Dubai Expo City Authority, stated that Dubai Expo City is committed to building a bridge for international cooperation, and the establishment of the China-Arab Economic and Trade Exchange Center is a concrete manifestation of Dubai’s vision for diversity. The joint exhibition was presented by Xu Li, former Vice Chairman of the China Artists Association, and five other top-tier young and middle-aged artists from China: Tang Chenghua, Yan Hong, Wang Cong, Li Xiaxia, and Zhang Chi. Through the masterpieces of these artists, the exhibition showcased the long history of cultural exchange between China and the Arab world and a bright outlook for the future. On that day, many distinguished guests attended the event to witness this grand occasion.

Artist Introduction
Xu Li (1961,7- -) was from Fujian. Xu li works in five consecutive years of the seventh, eight, nine, 10,11th national exhibition and the 20th century Chinese oil painting exhibition and other national major exhibitions, awards or by national art museum of China, the national museum of China, the great hall of the people, the communist party of China, the party history of Shanghai “a” memorial hall, the CPC “south lake” revolutionary memorial hall, diaoyutai, zhongnanhai and other important domestic art galleries and government agencies collection display. The works were presented to the foreign heads of state by the party and state leaders as national gifts.
Xu Li’s works are collected by the Rockefeller family. The world’s only individual oil painting is collected and displayed in the Da Vinci Museum in Italy. The Xu Li Oil Painting Collection has been published in Italy. At the same time, he was awarded the honorary academician of the Russian Academy of Arts, the Surikov Gold Medal of the Russian Artists Association, the Medal of Belgian Oriental Culture, and the Medal of Outstanding Cultural People of Kyrgyzstan. The National Arts Council Outstanding Artistic Achievement Award, Ukraine Ambassador Award, etc. Xu Li has led delegations to visit dozens of countries and regions in major states and held art exhibitions. Published more than 20 kinds of personal picture albums.
During the work of the Chinese Artists Association, Xu Li organized and implemented a number of national major theme art creation projects, promoted the Chinese art to climb the peak of literature and art, and made foreign exchanges, which made important contributions to the development of Chinese art in the new era.
Xu Li’s Chinese painting and oil painting in academic contributions: Fan Dian said that it is an study of the law of the creation of Chinese and foreign art, especially the study of the important experience of Chinese art in the past hundred years, integrated innovation and broad atmosphere, forming a unique style with the significance of theoretical construction.
