The Fujairah Chamber of Commerce and Industry is organising TEDxFujairah on August 11 under the theme “Think Deeper, Time to Break Barriers.â€
The Technology, Entertainment and Design, TEDx, Programme is designed to help communities, organisations
and individuals to spark conversations and make connecti-
ons through local TEDx-like
experiences.
Seven talented young minds will speak about their innovative and inspirational ideas in diverse areas such as cinema, poetry, innovation, arts, music, design and voluntary work.
Organisers say the idea to reinitiate TEDxFujairah came from the UAE’s initiatives and constant support of the youth. This event’s target audience
is the youth.
“We believe in youth empowerment; we believe that the youth are the future of this country’s development in all aspects, whether technology, medicine or engineering,†they added.
Today, most youngsters have ideas and a passion towards something, but they lack motivation or they do not know how to go about achieving their dreams. The event intends to
fill that gap.
Speakers will include motivational figures and some of the most influential people in the UAE who went over and beyond breaking barriers within society to achieve what they wanted.
