The Centre of Waste Management, Abu Dhabi (Tadweer) announced that the Polesty System would be introduced on December 4.
Earlier Tadweer launched
e-Manifest Project under the name “Polesty during its participation in GITEX Week 2016. It aims to build an integrated database to ensure proper handling of waste.
The project will start in phases, with companies that produce over 250 tonnes of waste annually, as well as environment companies and waste-receiving firms.
The Electronic Manifest System aims to save time and efforts for all parties, and ensure the accuracy of waste information. It also allows controlling companies to monitor waste quantities and immediate disposal.
Eng. Mubarak Al Ameri, Acting Director of the Licensing, Tariff and Customer Service Department at Tadweer, said that the introduction of such programmes reflects the keenness of Tadweer to achieve the Vision of Emirate of Abu Dhabi 2030 in terms of using the best sustainable technologies of waste management.
