Tadweer holds ‘Your Happiness is Our Goal’ initiative

Tadweer (the Center of Waste Management – Abu Dhabi) organised “Your Happiness is Our Goal” initiative at Al Ain Centre for Care and Rehabilitation by its Al Ain Branch, the initiative targeting the disabled people who require special care and attention from all members of the society. This initiative comes as part of a series of community initiatives that Tadweer has committed to implement in collaboration with the concerned entities and organizations.
Eng. Nayel Rashid Al Shamsi, Manager of Tadweer, Al Ain branch, said, “People with special needs have received a remarkable attention by the leadership of the United Arab Emirates, and the Government of Abu Dhabi has considered them as one of its major priorities and on top of its agenda. This noble initiative by Tadweer Awareness Department is in line with Abu Dhabi Vision 2030.”
He added, “By organising this event, we strive to create a friendly environment and reinforce bonds between government entities and people with special needs through an educational program to raise awareness of social responsibility and develop positive social attitude towards this group of society.”
The initiative aimed to deliver an important message, that is maintaining a clean environment, and raise awareness among members of the society. It also aimed to bring joy and happiness to people with special needs, and entertaining and educating them on how to reduce, reuse and sort waste at source.
