Tadweer concludes workshop on ‘Bolisaty’

Tadweer, the Center of Waste Management – Abu Dhabi conducted a workshop on E-Manifest Project under the name of ‘Bolisaty’ (my policy) during its participation in GITEX Week 2016. A detailed presentation was given during the workshop with the objective of raising awareness on the E-manifest, its use, goals and features. Tadweer’s strategy comes in line with the Abu Dhabi Vision 2030 to ensure a sustainable environment.
The three days’ workshop was held at Abu Dhabi Municipality’s Theater, and witnessed a strong participation of 1,200 participant representing 900 organizations, including companies producing more than 250 tons of waste per year, environmental services providers and waste-receiving facilities. Attendees had the chance to directly interact with field experts and Tadweer representatives who clarified the implementation process of the “Bolisaty” system. Participants showed concrete willingness to apply the system considering the positive impact it will have on organization companies in terms of efficiency; it ensures the accuracy of waste information dealt with and enables companies to control the waste quantity and disposal at any given time.
Eng. Hussein Al Amoudi, Head of Licensing Department at Tadweer said: “This workshop reinforces our commitment to develop and implement integrated and sustainable systems in line with the international standards and latest global innovations in integrated waste management. Our objective is to encourage all organizations to play an active role in the community and support the e-transformation of services to avoid paperwork. Tadweer will initiate the application of “Bolisaty” system on December 4.”
Brochures on “Bolisaty” systems were shared along with informational DVDs compromising including ac visual guide and videos on how to use the system.
