The Dubai-based home maintenance company, has launched three dedicated cleaning, maintenance and manpower services packages targeted at small and medium-sized businesses.
The cost-effective packages are designed to suit the specific needs – and budgets – of small businesses in the Emirates, for whom maintenance issues are often handled internally or through ad hoc providers.
“Our new Office Service packages were launched in direct response to market research we carried out as well as feedback from existing customers. We have created a bespoke menu of one-stop shop service options that cover any and all essential cleaning, maintenance and even manpower services; freeing up customers to concentrate on what really matters – running their businesses,†said Lukas Eigenmann, Operations

The packages range from an Office Premier option, which is a premium level office package including A/C, plumbing and electrical systems emergency cover and maintenance, together with a broad range of optional services and benefits, to an Office Essential option, which still offers the same range of optional office services, but is targeted at business owners who only want emergency cover for their AC, electrical and plumbing systems. Being customised packages prices vary depending on office size and service frequency.
The company will also work with its SME clients to encourage the uptake of sustainable solutions to reduce energy consumption and, ultimately, save money, which is a lifeline for start-ups or companies trading in today’s challenging economic
environment.
“These solutions can be as simple as installing aerators on water taps, which reduce water consumption by forcing air into the water flow, without disrupting water pressure; to switching to low energy light bulbs and high efficiency air conditioners to reduce energy consumption by up to 20 percent or fitting a dual flush button to all toilets,†said Eigenmann.
Education and awareness is another element to the Hitches & Glitches service with its team of professionally qualified service agents on hand to share useful tips with clients, such as ensuring that any A/C units are maintained to optimal levels of efficiency.
Hitches & Glitches identifies lack of proper maintenance as the biggest cause of A/C unit failure. Eigenmann said, “Some small business owners may regard this as a grudge purchase, however the potential impact of intermittent failures is negated with our new suite of cost-effective packages.â€
Hitches & Glitches also offers a range of smart technology solutions for small businesses through its partnership with Gadgitech, which provides high quality branded smart technology solutions for homes and
offices.
Hitches & Glitches staff is able to install and service smart devices such as the Withings monitoring system, which allows users to connect in HD to their office from anywhere, day or night, in just 30 seconds. The system can also monitor indoor air pollution, with real time reports on the state of indoor
air quality.
