Sudanese minister hails UAE’s humanitarian works

Mashaer Ahmed Al-Dawalab, Sudan’s Minister of Welfare and Social Security, praised the UAE’s humanitarian initiatives in her country and said that the UAE, its wise leadership and its humanitarian organisations are the first to currently and previously support victims of natural disasters in Sudan.
She highlighted the role of the Emirates Red Crescent during the last flood disaster that affected many areas, and pointed out its current projects of rehabilitation and rebuilding in co-operation with its Sudanese counterpart.
During her meeting with Dr Hamdan Musallam Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the Board of ERCmirates Red Crescent, she expressed appreciation of the government and people of Sudan for authority’s support. Dr. Al Mazrouei welcomed the Sudanese minister and her delegation and stated that the visit would enable greater humanitarian co-operation in Sudan.
