Sheikh Zayed Heritage Festival extended

The Organising Committee of Sheikh Zayed Heritage Festival has extended the festival’s activities for three more weeks to celebrate its remarkable success and notable public turnout.
The event started on December 1 and will run till New Year’s Day, 2017, in Al Wathba, Abu Dhabi, under the theme “The UAE a crossroads of civilisation.”
The announcement implemented the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and was followed up by HH Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs.
The event, held under the patronage of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and in tune with the directives of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince, has witnessed an increasing turnout from all segments of the
society and visitors.
The festival also focusses on young generations and children can look forward to game stations, featuring pastimes from all over the world, along with educational workshops and other events.
Hamid Saeed Neyadi, Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Sheikh Zayed Heritage Festival, said that without the attention and the generous care provided by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed, the continuous support of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and the relentless follow-up by HH Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, the festival would not have been able to achieve success and positive results.
