Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, a Mubadala Health partner, hosted a celebratory dinner in honour of its physicians and healthcare professionals. The dinner was attended by Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence; and Hasan Jasem Al Nowais, Vice Chairman, Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi and Chief Executive Officer, Mubadala Health.
The event celebrated the achievements of physicians at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi and their contribution in transforming the healthcare sector in the UAE and the wider region. It also aimed to recognise their value in the community as the country leaves the Covid-19 pandemic behind, and appreciates the resilience shown by them taking care of the people of the UAE during this unprecedented time, and beyond.
Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan said, “Over the years, we have seen doctors and healthcare professionals in this region showcase excellence and dedication to deliver best-in-class healthcare that people deserve. Their patient-first approach and concern about the health and well-being of the residents of Abu Dhabi and patients that come to be under their care from around the world is remarkable. I am convinced that high-quality healthcare is necessary to build a prosperous society and their endeavours affirm the focus of our country toward fulfilling this crucial area.â€
He continued, “We, in the UAE, are convinced that good health is very important for success and growth, since it is the foundation for successful development and prosperity. Sheikh Nahyan concluded his speech by expressing his sincere gratitude to Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s doctors.
