A UK delegation representing seven leading universities paid a visit to Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority, SEWA, as one of the leading world class organisations selected as best sustainability and environment models to be taught at several UK universities.
The aim of the delegation’s visit to SEWA is to exchange views about the possibilities of initiating joint research programmes and projects on sustainability, become acquainted with SEWA’s vision to become a world-class sustainable organisation, and its strategy of transformation to smart technologies and applications.
Dr Rashid Al Leem, the Chairman of SEWA, briefed them on SEWA initiatives and programmes to support its drive towards sustainable development.
