SCCI-DCCI agreement to spur competitiveness in Sharjah’s private sector

Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) has signed an agreement with Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI), in its capacity as the representative of the International Certificates of Origin Council (CO), according to which COs issued by Sharjah Chamber will be awarded an international recognition.
The agreement aims to allow scaling of international commercial exchange, facilitating investments, and allowing national products to enter international markets.
Khaled bin Butti Al Hajri, Director- General of SCCI, described the agreement as a major step in supporting the competitiveness of Sharjah’s private sector, and enhancing exports from the Emirate to international markets. Al Hajri reaffirmed that SCCI is keen on enhancing collaboration with all parties in order to support the business sector and elevate its members’ capabilities and presence on the international level.
