Saud Salim Al Mazrouei, Director-General of the Sharjah Airport International Free Zone (SAIF Zone), and Hamriya Free Zone Authority (HFZA) visited Godrej & Boyce Manufacturing Company Limited, a Godrej Group Company, at their office in SAIF Zone.
Accompanied by a team of senior officials of the free zone, Al Mazrouei was received by Sumeet Baruah, Senior General Manager, Head of Operations, Middle East & North Africa, Godrej & Boyce Manufacturing Co. Ltd, Godrej & Boyce.
“It was a pleasure to welcome Al Mazrouei and the SAIF Zone delegation into our office to hold talks on identifying and promoting possible B2B growth opportunities and cementing our relationship with the free zone,†Baruah said.
After exchanging pleasantries, they moved on to the main agenda of discussion to enhance business-to-business, B2B, growth within SAIF Zone, with the active support of the free zone. Godrej & Boyce also sought the support of the marketing team of the free zone to enhance B2B opportunities. This would not only help other investors but also aid in the growth of the free zone.
Baruah also took the opportunity to thank the director- general and the Purchase Department of the free zone for considering the “long-standing request to register as a registered vendor besides being an investor.†Baruah also appreciated the significance of developing a SAIF Zone app, and commented that keeping pace with the digital world would certainly help in improving business as well as regular operations.
During their discussions, Al Mazrouei also shared details of the current projects undertaken by the free zone and the new initiatives that are being developed by both SAIF Zone and HFZA. Baruah pointed out that the Godrej Group Company has had its presence in the UAE for the past 15 years.
