Ras al-Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, RAK Chamber, has signed a Memorandum
of Understanding (MoU) with Ras al-Khaimah
International Airport, to boost mutual cooperation, exchange of expertise and studies.
The MoU will cement the basis of joint work between the two parties in a systematic way that aims at realising a constructive mutual partnership for greater benefit to the economy of the emirate.

the chamber, and Mohammed Qazi, CEO of
Ras al-Khaimah International Airport, signed the MoU, in the presence of a number of officials from both sides.
Al Shamili said the MoU comes from the keenness of the two sides to boost and consolidate their strategic partnership, thus contributing to government joint work through exchanging experiences to achieve better performance in the exchange of information, data, statistics and research.
He emphasised the importance of this cooperation in building an integrated information bank, thus contributing
to the support of the
business community in the emirate.
Mohammed Qazi said that the MoU is a great initiative to cement the relationship between the two entities for greater benefit to the economy of Ras
al-Khaimah.
“Over the last few years Ras Al Khaimah Airport has come a long way in attracting many new airlines to the emirate that has helped grow tourism as well as cargo and trade, the airport is an integral part of the emirate’s economy, and through this MoU both entities shall work closer to offer
attractive benefits to the existing and new stakeholders, we are grateful
of the support and vision of HH Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supr-
eme Council Member and Ruler of Ras al-Khaimah,†he said.
The two parties agreed to exchange visits, business missions and joint business committees, and establish a list thereof. The two parties will cooperate and coordinate the organisation of joint awareness activities in the form of meetings, seminars, workshops or awareness campaigns. Moreover, they agreed to form a working group to review the mechanisms of work and to coordinate the provision of mutual support for the implementation of the articles of this memorandum
and to make necessary recommendations and proposals to achieve the overall objectives of the memorandum.
